Small-group sessions designed to improve posture, kick power, and shoulder durability, supervised by Swimming WA’s preferred S&C provider.

Run By Head Coach
Ryan Evernden
I'm Ryan, Head of Swimming Strength & Conditioning at Formidable S&C and the coach behind this program.
I’ve spent over 10 years working in swimming, first as a squad coach, and now full-time in strength & conditioning, specialising in helping swimmers get stronger, more resilient, and faster in the water.
I’ve been lucky enough to coach athletes from all levels, from junior squads through to national champions, Rottnest soloists, and even world record holders.
Before coaching, I was a swimmer myself, an Open National finalist in the 200 breaststroke, so I know what it takes from both sides of the lane rope.
This program is built on everything I’ve learned, combining technical coaching, safe strength progressions, and a deep understanding of what swimmers need to perform and stay healthy across the long term.
